WWE celebrated its 40th edition of WrestleMania at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. The global sports entertainment giant turned what was a regionally dominated source of entertainment into leading source of entertainment that provides original content every week of the year.

The WWE is not only the innovative sports entertainment segment of TKO, the combined entity with the UFC, but it really is a leading marketing and promotion company.

This year, the WWE brought back the Rock, who is a TKO board member, for his first match in eight years. The future continues to be bright for both companies. 

For WWE fans, the message to take away is that the Rock was not making a one time appearance in the ring. He is joining the board, but sounds like he will be back and will continue to create value and content in the future. 

The biggest transcending superstar back in the fold is great for the brand that continues to grow and find innovative ways to connect to new audiences and create value. Looking forward to the future of the organization and where combat sports and sports entertainment goes in the future.
