The idea that you should spend more to spend less is rarely an effective idea. There will not be the feared federal government shutdown, which can make some federal workers a bit relieved. Although many of them may find themselves out of work once the effort to bring greater efficiency is fully launched. Congress was able to come to an agreement and now the focus can be on transitioning to the next administration.
The new bill does not address the debt limit, which may be a good thing. The last thing a fiscally irresponsible entity should have is more credit. Understandably, there may be need to increase borrowing while the process of eliminating the pork, waste, and excess of the federal government. But, the focus should be on passing fiscally responsible budgets that address our society's needs while living within the taxpayers means.
Democrats tried to frame themselves as a savior in the process. Yet, there are many people across America that rightfully hold them responsible for the mess that we are in right now. Their reckless spending fueled the inflation that severely harmed middle and working class Americans. Their policies that redirected funds from protecting our borders and communities to green projects that have generated no social benefit.
There will be a need to really address the fiscal situation and I think the Trump administration is doing just that with the creation of the Department of Government Efficiency. The amount of taxpayer funds used to simply pay the annual interest is to large of a portion to continue on the same trajectory. Something has to be done and looking at ways to reduce waste, cost, and excess of the federal bureacracy is something needed for a very long time.
The incoming President is already being treated as the current President because Joe Biden is out of sight out of his mind. Putting criminals and his family back out on the street with his pardon fest.
He is not doing the work of the American people and is now considering commuting people on death row. Joe Biden is making himself the President of the criminal element because he certainly was not the president of the people.
I encourage people to read the Wall Street Journal that shed light on the efforts made to hide the condition of Joe Biden from the American people. The great depths the Biden Administration went to perpetuate a lie to the federal government and the general public.
A lie that was sold by the broader Democratic Party during the presidential primary season, the early stages of the general election, and up to the disaster that was the first debate. All the while, the media never once question or served the public's interest in finding out the truth that was so obvious to the objective viewer.
Not really surprising how the political constructs are falling apart right now. And paradigms are changing immediately before our eyes.
