THE PRICES WE PAY

Welcome to The CRC Team Channel.  In this episode, I decided to talk about pricing from an economic perspective. The issue is a hot button one, especially since Americans have been plagued by inflation for so long. The cost of living has creeped up to the point that it is changing how people live their lives.  My goal was to show the reasons why pricing can increase fast, but may decline slower than expected from the business operational viewpoint. From a supply chain management perspective.  Welcome.  The politics of pricing can skew how people view issues and the ability to address these issues from a timing perspective or the mechanics of economic change. We are seeing the politics of pricing in our media saying prices have not come down yet. Ironically, after ignoring inflation for 4 years, they know want to address it.  But the reality is that there are lags when policies are enacted. And some of the changes being implemented will have a major...

PHILLY CELEBRATES

Welcome!  I had the fortune to experience another Super Bowl Parade in the city of my birth. Please click on my image for my commentary on the greatest celebration since 2018! Great celebration with a great crowd of Philly faithful

SERIES: THE EAGLES WIN

Welcome to The CRC Team Channel.  Our Philadelphia Eagles did it. They really did it. Our players went to New Orleans with poise, purpose, and preparation. Our offense compliment our dominant defense along with our timely special teams to earn our second Super Bowl Victory.  The Philadelphia Eagles finished their story once again on the biggest stage of sports. Our Philadelphia Eagles beat GOATs. Our first Lombardi came against Tom Brady and the Patriots in one of the most exciting Super Bowls in history. Now, we soundly defeated the GOAT in training in a game that was over early. Both were redemptions of past defeats.  Despite the game not being competitive, it was a great night of football and a dominant performance that should be appreciated. Few times have we seen a team dominate in all three phases and continue to do so all game long. I have a great deal of respect for the Chiefs. To be the best, we had to beat the best. We did! Go Birds!! Welcome.  The r...

SERIES: ALL IN

Welcome to The CRC Team Channel.  Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones speaks to his fan base many times about being all in on ensuring his team secures its next Lombardi Trophy. His fellow sports owners in Dallas showed fans a different level of being all in. Neither team seemed to meet any fan's expectation. Welcome.  A team that is better positioned to win the NBA title is giving disgruntled fans refunds because of a highly unpopular act of trading their highly popular star.  Not a great business decision even if all the signs pointed towards making this deal. Sometimes, personal experience and insight should play a greater role than analytics.  But, when your new ownership and front office are outsiders, they may not fully grasp the impact of the decisions they make.  By the way, Go Birds! SERIES: SUPER BOWL LIX

Welcome to The CRC Team Channel.  What a great set of games this past weekend! Our Philadelphia Eagles soundly beat the Washington Commanders in the rubber match of 2024-2025. The Commanders made it to the NFC Title game sooner than the Dallas Cowboys!  The Kansas City Chiefs did what they seem to do every year. Beat Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. The Bills,  who gave the Chiefs their first loss, did not change history. Setting up a Super Bowl rematch. Welcome.  Many people will point out the potential for the NFL world to prefer that Kansas City Chiefs made this game. But, we should not overlook just how many people did not want Philly in this game.  Not just the Giants fans, but so many people ignored the facts, evidence, and game play only to maintain the anti- Philly bias in sports. As we say in Philly, they do not like us and we do not like them! Go Birds! Listen below for more! >

SERIES: CHAMPION IS CROWNED

Welcome to The CRC Team Channel.  The Big Ten is the new dominant conference in college football. First, the University of Michigan Wolverines plow through the field last year to win their first national title. Now, the Ohio State University Buckeyes win the national championship. Two titles in two years.  The College Football Playoff was a success in my opinion. Despite the early blowouts, the games got better. A more representative outcome than if a four team field decided this year's title. Would either team make the final four?  Welcome.  The conspiracy theory that the NFL is rigged or scripted is going beyond a nice pun for commercials. The favorable officiating the Chiefs receive seem to raise doubts. Especially when you have 2 superstars in the luxury boxes. Listen below for more!

CRC TEAM: THE START OF THE GOLDEN AGE

Welcome to The CRC Team Channel.  The return of President Donald Trump was electric, despite the cold weather, and boldly turned the page from the Biden Era, which many Americans felt was a tragic error. In a bold inaugaural address, President Trump delivered his plan to return common sense to American governance. President Trump is a one of one, who connects with audiences and has the pulse of America. He is not ideologically tied like many politicians are, which provides flexibility. Trump has clearly changed American politics and Americans have changed with it. Trump is uniting the nation while his opponents are trying to hold the status quo and divide for their perceived political benefit. For many Americans, they just hope that life becomes more affordable and opportunity is expanded beyond the progressive identity matrix. But, Trump is looking to do far more than that, which can help reshape the world for the better. Over t...

SERIES: WILDCARD ROUND

Welcome to The CRC Team Channel.  The NFL Playoffs are here! Great action this weekend with six games played. Unlike other sports, football is finite. You either win or lose. You either continue or your season ends. That is what makes the postseason so great.  The Kansas City Chiefs and Detroit Lions were off this week. But, our Philadelphia Eagles played the Green Bay Packers at the Linc. Experience the episode below to see what happened this weekend! Welcome.  The national championship game is set. The NCAA changed the way the champion is crowned by expanding the field into an actual playoff.  Great decision. The College Football Playoffs have been entertaining and offered fans a second season to that culminates into the crowning of the next college champion.  Listen below for more!

SERIES: THE TOUGH DECISIONS

Welcome to The CRC Team Channel.  Over half of the NFL franchise did not reach an important goal they had for the season. They did not make the playoffs. And now face an early start to change their fate for next season. Some situations require obvious change. Others the solutions are not that obvious.  One of the hardest thing for fans to see is a coach or player jettisoned by their favorite team become a superstar elsewhere. Personally, I route for their success, but do wonder why it did not work out. Or what made the difference.  Sometimes the decision to move on from a coach or player may be the wrong decision. Sometimes providing a second or third chance to a player or coach may just lead to more of the same.  Experience why effective leaders are able to make the right choices with these types of situations below.  Welcome.  This is not an exclusive challenge to the sports world. How many companies had too much faith in their leader ...

SERIES: THE END IS ONLY THE BEGINNING

Welcome to The CRC Team Channel.  The 18 Weeks of the NFL regular season is over. There is nothing like it in sports. I love baseball. Enjoy soccer, basketball, and hockey. But nothing hits the spot like the NFL and College Football.  In the episode below, the takeaways from week 18, the second round of the new College Football Playoff, and more!  Please enjoy below.  Welcome.  The Monday following the end of the NFL regular season is usually when the media starts to report on all the coaches who no longer will lead their current teams.  These individuals are millionaires with fully guaranteed contracts. But nonetheless, it still is not ideal for your team to be in this category.  Seemed like there was an owner who could not wait to grant his fans what they have been asking for over the last few weeks. But it might not bring back the glory days.
