SERIES: MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND

CRC

Welcome!

Today we remember all those brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice to defend our freedom, our homeland, and our way of life. We mourn their loss while cherishing their memory. The paid a price that America can never repay. But we can make sure that their sacrifice was not made in vein by embracing our American values, being compassionate to one another, and set aside divisiveness over politics.

I believe that people need to venture out around our great nation and that will help alleviate some of the tensions that exists. If you do, the first thing you realize is that we are all not that different. At our core, we all just want opportunity, kindness, and basic respect. Not a big or unreasonable ask by any means.

The great thing is learning from the differences in lifestyles and community structures. It is common to elevate what we are used to as the ultimate standard of normalcy. When you truly experience other cultures and ways of life, there is underlying commonalities that you can appreciate. Same goals just different approaches

America is blessed to not be a monolithic society from sea to shining sea. We have so much great diversity related to our regional cultures that should be appreciated. Take time to learn about your fellow Americans and set aside the narratives and stereotypes. You will truly see that we do have far more in common than our superficial arguments.

CRC SOCIAL:

For many people, there is a need to acknowledge that any story or narrative surrounding them is not simply because of the work of others. Rather it is the actions, achievements, statements, and attitudes that we put out there. Even is someone is misrepresenting it, then we still have the opportunity to make sure we control it by being more selective on how we present ourselves and what we share.

THE ECONOMY:
There will always be choppy waters when adapting to new technology and organizational changes at the same time. So, it is not completely surprising that there are some issues with the staffing approaches around companies deployment of AI. Some have believed it would reduce their headcount. Only to have to bring back critical talent they laid off. The cart can never get ahead of the horse if you want to make it to the destination with all your goals intact.

PUBLIC POLICY:
I always believe that if you are not willing to be honest, then you should simply do nothing. Why lie to others? And that is really what happened with a report that was supposed to give Democrat supporters some level of accountability for what was clear and obvious to everyone in 2024. There is a trust issue that party leaders seem all too willing to compound with evasiveness and dishonesty.
